Siobhan's January Newsletter #2

Hi Everyone,

Just another update to let you know what is happening with White and Red group. We competed at the Middletown meet and had a pretty good end result for many swimmers. I saw a few more swimmers get their AA cuts along with a lot of best times! Great job.

I also want to remind everyone that if you are interested in getting a KEY Championship shirt that the cost is $5 without name on back and $10 with it. Money should be turned into Coach Lauren. Shirts will be light blue with a smiley face with goggles on front. Slogan was voted on by the 4  groups.

On a Championship note, I would like to request that if at all possible, no one plan a trip to Great Wolf Lodge before Championships. In the past we have had swimmers go there and many have come home with respitory infections. So as a precaution I am asking to hold off on this until after AA meet.

Please be sure to sign up for our Valentine meet which is quickly approaching. We need all families to help out for this to be a successful meet.

Swimmer of the Week for White group is Trent Birch. Trent has really stepped up his efforts in practice and started leading his lane. We have noticed his hard work.

Red group swimmer of the week is Tristan Tirado. Tristan, has shown a lot of progress in attitude and the last few practices has  worked very hard to not only move up time cycles but to work on techniques coaches want to see. Congratulations!
