It is with great regret what we have experienced this past week.
As several people know by now, Coach Matt Liddy passed away on
Monday. Coach Liddy grew up in Dayton, graduated from
Chaminade-Julienne High School, coach the Dayton Northwest YMCA and
then moved on to coach at Wright State University. He also
coached our very own Coach Eric and Coach Tony at Wright
State University and then refered Coach Eric to the South YMCA-KEY
Swimming program to start his coaching career.
Not only was he a very good coach, Liddy was a great person. He
helped mold Eric and Tony into the people they are today. Below is
